Mengjun Chen is a distinguished professional ballet artist with over a decade of experience performing with premier American ballet companies. Currently an artist with Smuin Contemporary American Ballet, she brings world-class expertise and artistry to her teaching.

Beijing Dance Academy (1999-2010, Scholarship). Joffrey Ballet Trainee Program (2010-2011, Full Scholarship).

Smuin Contemporary American Ballet - Artist (2015-2025, Artistic Director: Celia Fushille). Milwaukee Ballet - Artist (2012-2015, Artistic Director: Michael Pink). Milwaukee Ballet II (2011-2012, Artistic Director: Rolando Yanes).

Performance Experience

Extensive repertoire including classical works (Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Don Quixote, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty) and contemporary pieces by renowned choreographers (Val Caniparoli, Michael Smuin, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Trey McIntyre, and many others). Performed with Smuin Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and National Ballet of China.
